samples/dynamic-html/package.jsonThe upgrade from Express v3 to v4 is a major version with significant breaking changes. An existing Express 3 app will not work without modifications.
Key Breaking Changes:
express.static) have been removed from the Express core. You must now manually install and include packages likebody-parser,cookie-parser,compression, andmorgan.app.routerhas been removed: Theapp.use(app.router)call must be removed. Recommendation: This upgrade requires code refactoring. Developers must add dependencies for all required middleware and update the application's bootstrap sequence before merging.
